Waiting and Learning

As of Thanksgiving, 2012, I sprained my ankle pretty bad, and I've been trying to keep off it in order for it to heal properly. I thought that by this time it would have, considering it's been almost 3 months, but... unfortunately, it hasn't... So, in the meantime I've decided to pick up where I left off in learning guitar! lol! Ironically, I had bought the thing a day before I sprained my ankle. It's actually become a good hobby of mine! (Though, tedious at times) I didn't know what song I wanted to learn first, on top of that I had forgotten everything I was taught before! So I started replaying "Metal Gear Soild 3 Snake Eater" This game has to be one of my all time favorite video games ever! I had forgotten how great the story and soundtrack to this video game was. Once I cleared the game, and the credits started rolling I knew exactly what song I wanted to play first! Starsailor - "Way to Fall" With the goal set, and as of today, I have learned it! I still need more practice though...

Two Thousand Thirteen!

Happy belated new year everyone! Hope everyone's had a good one!

So it's 2013, and nope, the world did not end! lol! This year is looking pretty promising, and a lot of ideas are coming to life already. I do have some new years resolutions, which I intend to get to! Not like last year... For about two years now, I have been talking about making some work space in my room, and as of about a week ago, that's become a reality! I'd say that's quite a start! 

The year just started and January is almost over. It's scary to think about how fast time flies by. Ya gotta make the most of it right? (Cliche, i know!) 

To start the new year right, I upgraded my Blackberry to the Galaxy S3! Dear God, where has the smartphone been all my life!?

I've been shooting a lot of film lately too. I've missed shooting digital!



A lot of Resident Evil 6 has been played! lol!



As one of my new years resolutions, I decided to buy a guitar to pick up where I left. I still have a lot to learn...

Oh yeah! The car.
At the beginning of last year I made a new years resolution to get the car closer to what I wanted it to look like. A set of coilvers, and new clutch later, the car started to pull together. I did get the car to look more like I wanted it to, and a bit more at that. I concentrated more on the suspension more than anything. Though it's still needs some tinkering with. This year I plan to get some more speed out of the little hatch. New brake kit, front headers, intake manifold, etc. I'm excited for it, so, let's see how that goes.

The EF Update

I while back ago, my pc crashed and deleted everything I had stored in it. Though depressing, I found it as a motivational push to go out and shoot more. Since then, I've been saving up for a new computer, and as of yesterday, finally got it! Looking through my old (unorganized) photo archives, I realized I didn't have any nice (proper) pictures of my car, and in the celebration of a new computer, I decided to have a mini shoot for the hatch.

A Not So Typical Day At School

Usually around this time of the semester procrastination takes it toll, and I'm buried alive in work/projects. Not this semester though, surprisingly! So, to celebrate, some friends and I went down to Curry House to grab a bite, and walk around the area of Sawtelle. It turned to quite the adventure today, making going to school much better lol!

Vintage cars shop was cool, even from far away.

Thought the construction up in Santa Monica is annoying, it makes for some interesting pictures.

"The budget build" as my cousin Kevin would say. He has recently been reunited with his EF hatch! Totally stoked on what he has in store for it!

Hello October!

So it's October, and what better way to start of the month than by killing some zombies to prepare for Halloween! In fact, I'm really looking forward to this month, with Resident Evil 6 being released this week, The Formula D Finals going on next weekend (12th & 13th), The Walking Dead Season 3 coming out, and not to mention the attractions going on everywhere! It's going to be an interesting month.

On a side note, the car will be getting some new parts, and a Vtec head swap. (maybe lol!)
